April Bowlby was born in Vallejo, California, and was later enrolled at Moorpark College where she pursued degree work in French, Marine Biology, as well as Ballet. When she was in her teens, she took up modeling, however, she soon switched to acting. Her first role as a professional in the year 2005 in the role of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation guest star". From there she went on to film and TV work, appearing in such projects as "CSI NY", "Stacked", "Freddie", "Sands of Oblivion", "All Roads Lead to Home", "Out of Jimmy's Head", "Kath & Kim", "Psych", as well as "From The Prada Show To Nada". The most notable of her performances is the recurring roles she has on Two and a Half Men, and How I Met Your Mother. She also co-starred as Stacy Barrett for the television series "Drop Dead Diva".
